DuoFlip is an innovative new MagSafe accessory that launched on Kickstarter earlier this month, garnering significant attention and backing from supporters. Created by Canadian tech accessories brand SleekStrip, DuoFlip aims to streamline carrying daily essentials like IDs and payment cards for iPhone users.
The key feature of DuoFlip is its flip design with two card slots—one windowed for displaying identification cards, and one covered for securely holding other cards and protecting privacy. Users can smoothly transition between the two slots with a simple flip, eliminating the hassle of fumbling through a traditional wallet or cardholder.
“We spent months studying and testing over 230 anti-interference materials to perfect DuoFlip for seamless tapping and transitions,” said Patrick Sung, Founder of SleekStrip. “It solves many pain points professionals experience when juggling phones, badges, and contactless payments.”
DuoFlip attaches directly to the back of MagSafe-compatible iPhone models, keeping all essentials conveniently together in one place. The Kickstarter campaign proved extremely popular right out of the gate, hitting its $5,000 funding goal within the first day. Just over two weeks in, DuoFlip has raised over $18,000 from nearly 300 backers excited by the versatile new accessory.
SleekStrip plans to offer special discounts to first responders and frontline healthcare workers once the Kickstarter campaign concludes. DuoFlip is expected to retail for $40 USD with delivery starting in March 2023. Multiple colors will be available, and users can pair DuoFlip with various lanyards, retractors, and other accessories for added convenience.
